I had been living in the West End, renting a great Beach Avenue apartment
for a couple of years, but had been thinking frequently about getting into
the market and buying for the first time. I knew several realtors, but they
were all in my home town of Maple Ridge and I didn't feel confident that any
of them knew the market in Vancouver, and more specifically - the quality of
the buildings and potential for problems.

Ironically around the same time, I received an email from a co-worker

I had been considering buying a condo for some time, and when I finally decided to buy, Ryan came highly recommended from a colleague and I was not dissappointed.

He was very responsive to my wish list and did an excellent job of managing my expectations in the real estate market. He set me up on his automatic e-mail list and called regularly to follow up. And, if I saw a listing or a building on my own that I was curious about, I asked Ryan to look into it for me.
